1 – used R8 shell mill adapter with custom end cap to hold these shell mills. 5 – lightly used carbide tipped shell mill cutters. The specs on the cutter are. Cutting OD = 2.625. ID of cutting flutes = 1.565. Tooth thickness = 0.375. Slot width for locking keyways. 6 flutes cut down and 6 flutes cut on the top-side. I believe these were originally used for a horizontal milling setup. Markings are with vibe-pen. These came from a retired machinists toolbox. He worked in Michigan for a while. The cutters are sharp, but have some light surface rust. The R8 shell mill arbor is in good clean condition. Pictures show the cutter in action on my Bridgeport. I face cut an aluminum block to show the capability. Check out my other auctions.
