Here is a nice Brown & Sharpe Dividing / Indexing Head. It accepts #4 morse taper. Included is a #4 MT chuck and dead center. The thread for mounting a chuck is 2-1/4 x 4-1/2 TPI. The face plate is 6-3/4″ and the dividing plate is 5″. The center height is a little under 5-3/16 (5.165). For Sale – 1 – Cincinnati No. 5 Horizontal Milling Machine. Removed from service in our machine shop. Operating when removed but replace by a larger, more modern Lucas Mill. I don’t know much about these machines but here is what the shop manager told me. There is an oil leak in the up and down function of the table. It is not bad but it leaks. The machine works fine. The cranks were removed because they often hit the operator while spinning automatically. Some of the cranks are available but they often used vise grips instead. There is a bar attachment for making “sled runner” keyways in shafts. There is a quill bar attachment. I have added a picture that I believe to be an overarm support. There is 1 with the machine. We can power the machine up if you want to try it. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will try and help.
