They are in perfect working order. The versa grips I used like a total of five times. I tried to mill a hardened steel round part and some of the corners chipped on the clamps. I would recommend for aluminum or plastic or mild steel parts. I paid over five hundred bucks for these. These are eight inches long and stick out an inch on each side of a six inch vice.
