Nice working Atlas MFC horizontal milling machine. It’s circa 1957/1958. It’s in excellent running condition and good cosmetic condition. Includes a 1″ arbor, draw bar, 3/8″, 1/2″ and 5/8″ end mill holders, cutters and slitting saws. The arbor and draw bar are shop made. The arbor is concentric to within. The horizontal front brace is 6061-T651 aluminum and is also shop made. There is one broken handle on the X axis. The X, Y and Z axis are smooth and free. There are no known issues with this machine. I have used it regularly in my own shop. Not enough room for a Bridgeport, vertical mill or knee mill? This machine will fit in any basement shop and is remarkably rigid and accurate. It’s a lot of fun on small projects. Note: If you are an Atlas purest, this is not the machine for you. There are several parts that are shop-made. But if you want a nice, reliable machine to add to your shop with very little effort, this is a perfect machine for you. Weight is about 275 lbs.
