Sherline 5400 mill cnc conversion kit complete with masso controller. I got talked into purchasing this complete kit to convert my 5400 mill to Cnc by a friend who assured me he knew how to program, read, write the code necessary to start making stuff. Well turns out he knew nothing. I installed all the components we called sherline (they are great) who verified my work was done correctly and walked us through all the axis’s XY and x. Grizzly G8689 Mini Milling machine with professional ball screw conversion. Wired for and includes Geckodrive G540. All you will need is a power supply for the Geckodrive and the software of your choice. The motors are wired for plug and play operation. There are wires in the harness for limit switches but they are not installed or included. Converted the machine a few years back and made a few test cuts. Decided I needed a full size machine for what I was doing and it’s been sitting ever since. Never been used other than some test cuts. With the ball screw conversion you get extreme accuracy and speed which is what these machines need to operate successfully under computer control. It’s a nice little machine. Some light surface rust stains on the table and the rear way cover has a tear (easily repaired) but otherwise in great shape. I have always loved mini mills. Sieg X2 CNC Milling machine Conversion. I bought this several months back already converted. Since Ive had it Ive turned it all on to make sure everything works and hasnt been used since as I havent had the time to learn it all due to work and other commitments!
