Unlike common static boring heads that require you to stop the mill spindle to make diameter changes, this high-end French-made Gamet head features a fully functional mechanical clicker ring for automatic radial self-feed facing operations! Perfect for machining flat-bottomed counterbores, facing blind flanges, or cutting internal snap-ring grooves perfectly square under power feed. Kit Features & Specifications. Boring Head: Genuine Gamet (France) head dual-marked with the CTR stamp and Ralmike’s branding. Automatic Self-Feed Mechanism: Integrated knurled outer collar allows mechanical cross-feed progression while the spindle is rotating. Taper Shank: Heavy-duty, integrated solid R8 taper shank-mounts directly into standard Bridgeport knee vertical milling machine spindles. Boring Extensions: Includes an indexable tool bit holder, and an “S” stamped heavy rigidity steel boring bar. Ralmike’s Summit, NJ boring bars as pictured.
