The brackets are made of 1/4 6061 Aluminum. The guide ways are hardened steel. The screw and nuts are stainless steel. Zero set handwheel with roller thrust and stainless sleeve with 100 divisions. The the nuts are adjustable to help achieve and maintane Zero backlash. The thread is 8mm x 1 left(just like the Unimat thread). There is a 2mm shim that fits in the head stock adapter(where the clamping bolt goes) to lock it in place and keep it open enough to slide easily. Milling post and headstock adapter are NOT included(for demo purposes only). Has 1mm x 6 thread to set up like the Unimat hand wheels(it screws on the screw with a lock nut). I did a load test… I put the headstock on and then I put my hand on top of that and leaned on itabout 30lbs. Just in case anyone had any doubts about that.
