MAXNC CNC MINI-MILL WITH SOME ACCESSORIES UNASSEMBLED EXC COND! L@@K
I bought this awhile back from an estate sale, but have never had the time to put it completely together and now everything I have has got to go, so hopefully someone can put it to good use. It would be a great unit for beginners learning CNC or for simple Milling tasks like drilling holes in circuit boards (that was one of my wishes) or engraving faceplates or metal tags. The entire unit is made of Aluminum with Allen-Head Bolts and weighs a little over 25lbs. It includes the 3 Stepper-Motors shown, and has all of the Couplings and Lead-Screws necessary to operate the Mill. It has the Controller, a Power Transformer and Software. The only thing necessary to make it all work should be a PC with DOS (Win98 or Earlier). The User’s Manual was stored separately and suffered some dampness and is only partly legible. Things like the Schematics can still be made out pretty well though, and you can get a fresh copy of the Manual from MAXNC or from one of the Mini-Mill Forums online. I bought some Table Hold-down Clamps with Table Nuts and those will go along with the Mill, as well as a Dremel-Style Tool Mounting Attachment which will require some fabrication to attach it. It was recommended to me and has a lot of comprehensive information about CNC Mills and their operation. Someone who understands CNC Mills or who has basic Electrical/Mechanical Skills and is interested in learning should have no problem completing this Mill. This is a very basic and lightweight Open-Loop (Stepper-Motor) Mill which is perfect for the Hobbyist or Student or even small commercial use. There are no instructions for assembly with it, and I would recommend getting instructions from MAXNC. I try to describe everything truthfully. I’m not a business, just an Individual who needs to downsize. NOTE: I package everything extremely well using bubble wrap and durable boxes.
