This is for the Atlas milling machine pictured. I don’t have a lot of experience with these machines but I have looked this over closely. I have plugged it in and it does run. I didn’t notice any slop or play any where. There are some small issues. The 10th picture shows one gear with some broken teeth but the rest of the gears look fine. The 11th picture shows the corner of the change gear box backing plate has a corner broken off. The corner contains one of the mounting bolt holes for the change gear cover so instead of having 4 bolts that hold it in place it only has 3. The 12th picture shows the belt guard cover is loose. The 8th picture shows the inside of the table gear box. All of the gears look good but I did notice the table moves fine in one direction but when it is reversed it skips so it may need adjusted. This has no effect on operation of the table manually. Please check out the pics for any other details and feel free to ask questions. Nice used Atlas milling machine model MFC Serial number 009208 complete with motor, chuck, swivel vise and overhead cutting tool carrier. Unit is in good operating condition, but I have only used it a few times in twenty years. Could use a good cleaning and a coat of paint. This is great little Atlas model MFB mill. Heavy duty bench top machine. It is set up now for 110 volt but I think it can run on 220 as well. Everything seems to run and move as it should. Very well made smooth dovetail slide. I think its made by myford. Comes with 2 T nuts. The milling table is 4″ x 5″, slots in table are. 56in, tslot nuts 1/2in. A little over a foot in total height, 8in from base to top of milling table when fully extended, 3in travel. Mounting holes 1.5in from center to center. Atlas bench top horizontal Milling Machine model MFC on Original Stand and more This machine shows little use. There is nothing broken or worn (back gear knob just broke). Table is in great condition with a few nicks. All of the knobs and handles are present, includes an original Atlas vice with swivel (in excellent original condition, no marks), one milling arbor with spacers, and the original overarm support bracket. The gears are all in good condition. The original Dunlap motor is included and sounds excellent. All of the oilers are complete. Back gear is currently stuck. Outside of machine has been cleaned up but nothing internally has been touched. There has been no testing of the machine other than running the motor, which runs great. Both belts need to be replaced. Support arbor is stuck. The machine comes on an original Atlas stand. The stand needs a coat of paint but there are no dents. The Atlas logo is missing. This is a great machine in excellent condition. With the original stand, it becomes even more special.
