Up for sale is perhaps one of the most rigid yet ergonomic manual mills in like new condition. This mill combines a 5000lb base from a Bridgeport boss 10 with the flexibility of a Bridgeport Series 1 one ram and head. The greatest part of this mill is you can stand in one spot and fully use each axis (the air assist knee makes moving the z axis effortless) cutting down fatigue and keeping your eyes focused on the cut. Everything is like new I have never used the mill since converting it, upgrading to a cnc shop and can’t afford to have such a nice manual mill on top of another nice mill I already have The base is equipped with ball screws on all axis, chrome hardened ways, air assist knee, x axis powerfeed, automatic oiling system, and steel accordion way covers in the x axis. The ways have little to no wear and the chrome ways were designed to last for 30 years without a rescrape in an industrial environment. The top half of the machine is equipped with a Bridgeport series 1 ram, and 3 HP variable speed Taiwan head. The head has been fully reworked all new skf bearings including the spindle and moving parts filed and fitted to ensure best operation.
