MSC Milling and Drilling Machine With Stand R8 Spindle This machine is in used condition. I will do my best to convey the condition though the following description. I have too many projects and the machine has been in storage since purchasing. The original motor was replaced by a 110v motor. According to the previous owner the motor needs a 20Amp service to keep the machine from blowing the circuit breaker. I can attest to the machine throwing a lower amp breaker. Perhaps a different spindle motor would be better. The table shows no signs of drill or cutter marks. The X and Y Axis appear to have about 20mm backlash (According to the handwheels) The gibs could probably be adjusted. In my estimation this is a great base for a CNC conversion where you would be going through the machine thoroughly in the process of conversion. It also could be a fine manual machine with some adjusting and TLC. I really like the size for a home garage/basement machine. It is heavy enough to take some solid cuts but can be moved easily by a couple of people.
