Up for sale is a 1994 Haas VF0. This machine is currently being used on a day to day basis in a small job shop type setting. What I can tell you about the machine. If you decide you are interested in purchasing, I will need a little bit of time to make sure the new machine can be delivered in the same time frame, but it is essentially available immediately. 8MB controller 20″X 16″ Y 20 Z Programmable coolant nozzle not currently plumbed, unsure of functionality. Does move when manually jogged 20 umbrella style Automatic Tool Changer RS232 interface with ability to send/ receive programs. 7500 RPM spindle 10 Horsepower Motor 4th axis (A axis) wired/ ready. No Rotary table/ indexer included. Roughly 55 gallon Coolant sump equipped with flood coolant pump Chip Auger Mitsubishi spindle drive (pre vector drive). I can tell you this is not the best machine out there, and like any old machine, it does have some quirks common to older haas machines. That being said, I do use this machine almost every day and will continue to do so until it is removed. It runs and makes good parts. Here is a list. “New” professionally rebuilt 8MB haas processor board with batteries that make installing new ones easy. Professionally cleaned and verified Motif/ Video boards new drawbar Rebuilt ATC plate with new dust cover springs New Main Air intake Solenoid valve New TRP solenoid valve New Humphrey Quick Exhaust valve New Spindle Fan. Some replacements by previous owner (approximately the last 4 years), some of which can be documented from haas install paperwork: New y axis motor and ballscrew New X, Y, Z, A servo amps New toolchanger motor. I will add those if I can remember anything. The reason for the white caulk is to replace the gaskets (cheaper and stops leaks better). This machine can be seen under power, and as stated, I will continue to use it daily. I have cut 4140, 304 Stainless, 420 Stainless, 303 stainless, all types of aluminum, plastic, 1018 steel, etc with this machine with no problem with CAM toolpaths generated by autodesk fusion 360. Adaptive or other named high efficiency milling toolpaths work great on this machine. I also have achieved excellent results with 3D surfacing. I can demo the machine cutting something out of steel, stainless, or aluminum. Whatever you would like to see. Any Questions, or concerns feel free to reach out.
