Ghost Gunner FLEX Complete Kit, Ver. 2A Open Source, DIY CNC
This listing is for a complete Ghost Gunner FLEX Build Kit. This kit includes all components required to assemble the FLEX in its initial public release version (v2.0a) with the parts and electronics required for compatibility with DDCut as host software. An Arduino Uno R3 and CNC Shield with power supply, flashed for compatibility with both DDCut and GRBL-Controller PC hosts. Four double-stack, 1.8deg/step NEMA17 stepper motors. A Makita RT0701 (or OEM rebadged Carbide Compact/Shapeoko) constant torque/variable-RPM spindle. NOTE: This kit does not include any specific jigs or optional/community designed/variant parts. The FLEX is a fully open source fork of the Ghost Gunner project by Defense Distributed which seeks to use more affordable and readily available materials commonly used in the open source tech space (3D printed parts, T-slot aluminum extrusion, and standard linear motion components). The launch iteration of the FLEX retains functional interchangeability of electronics and linear motion components with production Ghost Gunner 1 and 2 models, while future iterations will provide alternative construction methods and a wide variety of new features.
