Rare Fray All Angle milling machine, 9 x 36 table

These do not come up for sale often. For people unfamiliar with them, Fray has the same basic table X, Y, and Z axes as other mills, but also has other axes available as seen in the photos. It so very versatile. It also has a very high top speed of 6500 RPM, so it is even usable for wood milling. It has a NMTB #30 taper. The machine is in very good working order, but not perfect. The threaded stop for the fast hand feed quill operation is missing, and the small lower boss receiver is cracked (but present). The motor cover is gone (which seemed to happen often with these machines for some reason). This is the 1 1/2HP model. It is 3PH with reverse switch on the motor. This machine’s ways are in excellent shape, and there is some scraping “frosting” still visible. The “New Departure” bearings are in very good shape.
