I will keep the CNC bearings attached to the axes of the machine for you to bolt your own Nema23 stepper motors to. I’ve kept this piece in great condition. Kit includes blue accordion way cover set, which are a must IMO, which I always used to keep chips out of the leadscrew. Used only for milling of aluminum and plastics, so no major issues and still holds tolerances well. I used this system with my Gecko G540 and 4 nema23 steppers, highly recommend that system if you want to CNC this. This machine performed great for me and I used it often but lovingly so it is well “broken in” has proven itself, professionally maintained and lubricated and is not a lemon or big restore job. It’s ready for you to put to work as soon as you get it. If you wanted you can also easily use it in manual operation. It also has a few custom mods I did to make the machine better than stock. Custom Z axis riser block to get a few more precious inches of Z travel — very useful when using vise or milling larger pieces , I rarely ever ran out of Z height thanks to this block, especially if I used the milling collets. I moved the spindle motor to be separate from the speed controller, this way the motor belt is exposed making it easier to change over for speed changes. I also upgraded the Z axis coupler with a custom through-bolt so that the Z motor can never become uncoupled from the Z leadscrew – a common problem on these mills especially under the high accelerations and torque of CNC stepper motors.
