Of interest , I just brought up from my old shop a vertical combination horizontal milling machine you can operate both the vertical head and horizontal head at the same time as both are independent of each other. I do believe, it would fit any 50 taper horizontal milling machine, as it is driven from the 50 taper. What’s nice about this feature, you have all the advantages of a vertical milling machine with gear driven feed selection, unlike most vertical milling machines which search at the lower feeds because you are very the electricity to the motor, thus reducing the amount of power available for feeding accurately. This causes Chipload variance and can lead to problems, moving the part or breaking/chipping your cutting device. Machine can be a useful machine since you can attach a Vert Head and use it for more than one function. It is a brand-NEW Leeson electric 7 1/2 hp motor, everything works perfectly and the ways are very very good.
