TAIG Micro Milling Machine

This is a taig micro mill. It is in good working order, though a bit dusty and has a few aluminum chips clinging to various parts (i never did get around to making fabric way covers like i thought i would).

The knobs and a few of the allen cap screws have accumulated some surface rust during storage but the rest of the machine is clean and smooth. The ways, gibs and other precision surfaces are in good condition. The grease is old and a bit stiff, but the mill is usable as it is now if you want to pull it right out of the box and work on a small project before you clean it up.

The leadscrew nuts currently installed have negligible use on them. Included with the mill are. 1 – 3″ x 3.5″ slotted angle block. 1 – 3″ x 4.5″ slotted angle block. 1 – 3″ x 3″ uncut plain angle block (for making your own tooling). 1 – 4″ x 4″ uncut plain angle block. 3 collets (maybe more if i find them). You probably won’t be able to cut steel with half-inch mills, but they are great for plastic and aluminum. 1 – jacobs chuck with two keys.
