Bridgeport Series 2 CNC 4HP. This machine was retrofitted with modern electronics in 2012. It has 4 Gecko 203V drivers managed by a PMDX-132 breakout board which drives the original Bridgeport stepper motors. Spindle motor is controlled by a Hitachi WJ200 VFD. All the original noisy vari-speed pulleys were replaced with solid pulleys. New pulley bearings were installed. The system runs on Mach 3. Complete flood coolant system with 15+ gallon stainless steel coolant tank. This unit is powered up and is used almost everyday. 4th fourth axis with trunnion table driven by a 1200 oz/in stepper motor. Travels x:30 y:16 z:12.
