Clausing 8520 Vertical Mill

Clausing 8520 Vertical Milling Machine. This is a great example of this sought after home shop milling machine with nice extras. At that time I also replaced the stock motor with a 3/4 hp, 3 phase motor with a VFD that runs from a standard 115 volt outlet. This allows the remote control box to operate the machine in forward/reverse and provides a nearly infinite range of speeds. The table surfaces are in very good shape with no marks or injury and little back lash. The 5″ vice is included as is a set of MT2 collets along with a 2″ boring head attachment and full set of part hold down hardware. The mill includes a mobile base with front leveling/locking screws. The 8520 was rarely found with an X axis table feed and I found the original drawings to enable the use of a stock Servo brand table feed which works perfectly and included with the machine. I have recently acquired a full size Lagun mill and so now my Clausing must find a new home.
