I PAINTED EACH PART SEPARATELY WITH HIGH QUALITY AUTOMOTIVE ACRYLIC ENAMEL, NOT THE CHEAP RATTLE CAN OR CRAPPY HARDWARE STORE ENAMEL. IT SAT AND SAT UNTIL I FINALLY WENT THROUGH IT MONTHS AGO.
