2005 Haas VF-2D CNC Vertical Machining Center 30x16x20, 7500RPM CAT40 Rigid VF2

Nice clean Haas that is ready to go to work in your shop. This machine can be inspected under power at the current shop. It is making parts everyday until it is replaced with a new Haas VF2SS which is expected October 5-7. The amplifier was recently replaced by the local Haas dealer because the machine would overheat on hot days. This is in a small shop that isn’t climate controlled, if the electrical cabinet doors were open, it never over heated. During the repair the young tech suggested replacing the battery. He aggressively removed the battery causing some damage to the solder on the board. As a result this machine will run without issue, especially at low RPM, until the control will reset without warning. The frequency of the reboots depends on the program that is running. The owner believes it is a result of damage to the board during the battery replacement. After the control resets the machine will operate normally but whatever program was running needs to be restarted. We were able to get a video without any issues. You can tell from the photos this machine was not overly used or abused. They are making parts with it everyday. You can come inspect at the shop under power. It will work as it is, but could be repaired to have a fully functional CNC. Tooling shown (vises and tool holders) are not included since they will go on the new machine. Make: Haas Model: VF-2D.
