Vertical Knee Mill 9×42 made by Webb 220 3 phase 2HP power table feed and DRO
This is my very reliable Webb model number S 2 vertical knee milling machine. This machine is a copy of a Bridgeport Mill, It has been gently used, as you can see by how clean the table is. It was mainly used to manufacture precision motion picture camera parts. This machine was made in the She Hong Industrial factory in Taiwan some time in the 1970′s. It has a 2 HP, 220 volt AC, 3 phase motor, with an R – 8 spindle, powered quill feed, one shot oil, step drive with a max RPM listed at 2720 RPM, the table measures 42″ long x 9″ wide, the knee measures 20″ long, it features a 6″ angle lock style Mill Vice (not shown) Lyman power table feed, and a Sargon DRO.
