This is a pneumatic power drawbar that was used on a bridgeport series i. It mounted to the plate on that machine without any modification of the plate and it should work on any clone with the same hole pattern and thread. It was working when removed and was replaced with a mach-1 system. However, there is a small split ring and possibly an o-ring that are apparently missing. They are items 43 & 56 in the parts list (last picture).

The o-ring should be easy to come by and the split ring could be easily made out of wire. The split ring is the socket retaining ring and it helps to hold the socket in place so you don’t have to keep track of a loose socket.

The ring springs out to hold on the small groove/indents in the square drive cavity of the socket i. Where the ball in the drive on a normal socket wrench locks in. The split ring goes in the groove on the end of the square drive shown in the third picture. I used it for quite awhile without the socket retaining ring. A standard socket that fits your drawbar should work fine.
