This is a full package including the mill, the controls, the computer, and some tooling. Tooling includes the vise, collets a hold down set, collet wrenches, and a vise stop. The machine has roughly 10″ x 8″y 8″ z collum and 3 ” z quill travel. The travels are limited by soft limits to slightly less for cnc operation. The conversion has Thompson Ball Screws for the X and Y and uses the quill drive for the Z axis. The machine is using a Dynamtion Kflop USB FPGA motion controller to run the machine. No old school paralle port used here. The controller can run with either Mach3 or Kmotion CNC software running on Windows 10. The computer is a Dell optiplex 745 and includes the 15Planar Touch screen mounted on the machine. The control box has 2 Gecko G202 drives and one G201 drive, a 54 volt 20 amp power supply for the motors and a CNC4PC C10 breakout board. This is the white box in the pictures. The black box contains the kflop controller. I have a home/ limit switch on each axis. All three axis are have NEMA 34 stepper motors on them.
