Also, those machines would cost significantly more and be metric based, not standard/inch like this one, and located in Europe. Minimal backlash (0.003 X axis and 0.008 Y axis). Independent motor 3 axis infinitely variable speed DC drives. Both spindle motor and 3 axis drive motor are extremely quiet (I have video of machine running that I can send). Machine can be fully run with no significant heating of motors. The universal table rotates 360 degrees with a three speed transmission corresponding to the C axis on the DRO and tilts two directions by screws. Original Deckel dial indicators on table are fully functional for quick return back to zero. I bought the machine from that dealer who has an extensive history with all things Deckel. He is easily found on Pract Machinist forum. Of note, he is not involved in this sale whatsoever, and other than purchasing this machine from him, I have no relationship with him. Its too capable and amazing of a machine to be a shop/garage queen. The machine is located in Portland, OR, is hooked up to power, and can be inspected and run for demonstration.
