Bridgeport CNC Milling Machine Series I

Bridgeport Series 1 CNC with Hofman fourth axis. This machine was retrofitted with modern electronics in 2010. It has 4 Gecko 203V drivers managed by a PMDX-132 breakout board. The original Bridgeport steppers were replaced with 4 modern 1200 oz/in units. During the time of retrofit, the spindle motor was rebuilt, the spindle itself was rebuilt with new bearings and reground, new bearings in the top were replaced. Also the rear vari-speed pulley was replaced at that time. The system runs on Mach 3. Complete coolant system with 15 gallon stainless steel coolant tank.
