Spindle orientation I’ve never used this myself, but coupled with a right-angle head, driven or air powered, you’ve got an extra positioning axis for 3+1 or 3+2 if you add a rotary. Coordinate rotation and scaling (cool way to adjust the movements to match the orientation of the part if you’ve got something hard to orient precisely like a plate with two holes in it). I added a Redbone Tool coolant ring. This thing is awesome. I had been twiddling with coolant lockline during machining constantly. I installed this about 6 months after I bought the mill and haven’t touched a coolant nozzle since then. THE HRT 160 ROTARY IS OPTIONAL. It is available separately.
