ATLAS 7B METAL SHAPER FEED RATCHET GEAR COVER CASE S7-23D REPLACEMENT. We have been asked a couple different times to produce these S7-23D covers and have finally found some time. This is a replacement ratchet gear cover for a 7B Atlas Metal Shaper. This is 3D printed in a tough durable plastic material that is not affected by solvents or oils. Comes with the center bronze bushing installed and drilled with the oil hole. This replaces the Zamak produced covers that were very prone to cracking. A couple pictures show the cams in place in the cover. The cams are not included in the sale, only the cover nor is the shaper in the pictures. When we installed this we did not install the small spring and ball detent and had no problems regarding function or the unit staying in directional mode. I suggest not installing these as they are hard to install and like I mentioned really do not affect function as the internal plunger is an over center mechanism that keeps it in the correct mode.
