Used Clausing 8520 vertical milling machine with 6″x24″ table in good condition. 3/4 hp 110volt motor. Mill has Reversing drum switch, 6ea collets, two drill chucks, complete hold down set, fine feed hand wheel, and palmgren vise. The ways have light scratches but are pretty smooth. Machine has fine down feed and MT2 spindle. Backlash is less than 1/4 turn in x and a little over 1/4 in the y. The mill runs fine and is in good condition for its age. Everything works on the mill. Table has some minor dinges, and mill marks. This machine can be picked up from my shop which is 10 miles south and east of downtown Saint Louis, Missouri, forklift loading is free. Palmgren 8 diameter milling rotary table and x-y cross-slide combo. Aside from some small drill marks near the center (see pics), it appears to be fairly tight and in good condition. Hi folks , here is a pamgren 8 inch X-Y rotary – indexing table , that came from a shop that no one has been in for 20 years , the building had no heat , so most of the tooling has heavy rusting , watch. So this was rusty , i heated it up with a heat gun to get the grease out of the worm gears which actually protected it internally , then i put it in my new electrolysis tub for a day , and it came out quite. Then i washed it with vinegar , then soaked it in a lite oil bath , abracadabra here she is every thing turns nicely with no excessive play. This came from a one man shop i dont think it was used much at all. Bottom line if your doing work for n. A , on the space shuttle , this may not be the tool for you, but short of that this is pretty darn nice , the model number is 82 85-1. If you have any questions.
